Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife intends to issue a non-competitive contract to Met One Instrument Inc to provide an Environmental Beta-Attenuation Mass Monitor with Wind Speed Sensor, PM-2.5 inlet adapter, waterproof power supply, Airsys connection, carrying case, transit case and tripod case. Met One is the only manufacturer of this product and is being soled source because FWS personnel have been trained to use this equipment, have the equipment in use and it provides for consistency of data collected. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this aquisition has been made pursuant to 41U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and aproved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
