Description

NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division (NAVAIR) has a requirement to secure alterations to the lobby area of the Partnership One Building located in Research Park, Orlando, FL. The alterations will accommodate a pass and identification office for use by United States Navy. The work will consist of both design and construction, and include all code compliance, design, and project management costs associated with the project. All work shall have an architectural appearance consistent with the Partnership One Building and be compliant with all applicable codes prescribed by local, state, federal jurisdictions, including University of Central Florida (UCF) architectural standards. UCF is the owner/operator of the leased spaces occupied by the Navy in the Partnership One building. As such, NAVAIR is required to contract through UCF any alterations required in the workspaces occupied. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, Section U.S.C., 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 in that only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. This synopsis is issued to provide notice of NAVAIR?s intent to award this effort on a sole source basis to the University of Central Florida. No solicitation will result from this announcement.
