Description

The United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO), has a requirement for Life-Cycle Contractor Support (L-CCS) to provide depot level maintenance, sustaining engineering, and spare/repair parts on the AN/APQ-174B Multi-Mode Radar (MMR) system. During the current performance period, the scope of the existing Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract has increased beyond the original estimate to include additional parts buys and contractor field support of the Common Avionics Architecture System (CAAS) Terrain Following Flight Test (TFFT). The current contract expires 31 December 2005, however, the Government anticipates extending by three (3) months to 31 March 2006. The Government intends to increase the existing L-CCS contract for additional parts buys and sustaining engineering (to include CAAS field support) with Raytheon Company, 4501 W. University Drive, McKinney, TX. Raytheon remains the sole developer and manufacturer of the AN/APQ-174B MMR and retains all patents and proprietary data for the system. Raytheon is the only known source that can provide the supplies and services required under the existing contract. Any interested parties responding to this notice will be considered as required by law. The response date is 14 September 2005.
