- Description
- Amendment 002, only changes have been included. The REVISED TIME for the site visit is 0830-1500 on 01 September 2005. 1. Other than the facility walk through, is the time allocated for product demonstrations? Answer: No, due to facility time constraints there will not be time allowed for product demonstration and no product literature will be accepted in conjunction with the site visit. Anything that vendors bring will not be considered as part of the evaluation. 5. Will vendors be required to supply information to NMCSD prior to visit for base access? What is required to gain access to the facility, if it is located on a military installation? To whom do we send this information? Answer: Providing information (Company name, Representative(s) name(s), and vehicle make/model (if possible) and expected arrival time to the base) to NMCSD prior to visit is required. NMLC requires either a DUNS or a CAGE number to verify CCR registration. Required information will be sent to rtaylor@nmlc.med.navy.mil. NMCSD is located on a military installation. For base access each visitor will be required to present a valid Driver’s License or other valid Picture ID. 6. After reviewing the plan, I've noticed that the symbols are very difficult to differentiate from one another. Will there be someone at the site walk with the technical knowledge to answer design questions, and clearly define the plan symbols? Answer: NMLC will have two representatives present and NMCSD will have at minimum one technical subject matter expert to provide the required clarifications and answer questions. However, all questions are still required to be sent to NMLC in written format (email ONLY) by 3:00 PM EST 02 Sept 2005. 7. Is this a small business set aside or are large businesses encouraged to attend? Answer: This is a full and open competition; all businesses that meet the basic criteria are encouraged to participate. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (30-AUG-2005); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
