Description

This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Office for Law Enforcement Headquarters has a requirement for a BEA WebLogic server. This server enables support for multiple programming models, easy administration, and is used as a foundation for service oriented architecture. NMFS?s needs include the following: 1. WLS-CLUS/ BEA WebLogic Cluster or Premium Edition License v5.1-8.1 (including WLS Base License)- per CPU 2. M724-WLS-CLUSTE / M724-WLS-CLUSTER / BEA 7 X 24 Annual Maintenance Support for Production Server This requirement is not set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 423430. Responses must be sent electronically to Kelli.M.Woodard@noaa.gov and in paper to Kelli Woodard, Contract Specialist, National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, 1305 East West Highway, Suite 7610, SSMC4, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910, no later than 11:00 am, local time, September 10, 2005. It is the responsibility of the contractor to confirm NOAA?s receipt of quote. The applicable terms and conditions for the resulting purchase order are current through FAC 2005-05 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Interested contractors are hereby advised that contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
