Description: The purpose of this proposal is to award a contract which shall provide limited health care service by referral, educational, and preventative service activities to the Urban Indian and Alaska Native population residing in the Reno, Sparks, and Carson City, Nevada, metropolitan area. Where practical, the contrator shall provide or enter itno contracts for the provision of direct care services to the prescribed population. The resulting contract will be for a base year plus two-one year options. This solicitation, pursuant to Title V, P.L. 94-437, Indian Health Care Improvement Act, and class Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition dated August 3, 2005, will be awarded to the current Buy Indian contractor known as the Nevada Urban Indians, Inc. See note #22.
