- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The purchase requirement number is F8D2MG5237A100 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effec t through Federal Acquisition Circular July 05-05. This solicitation will be awarded under Full and Open competition. The associated NAICS code is 337214, and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement consists of three line items . Line Item 0001, Design Systems Furniture for approximately 60,000 square feet of office space, Line Item 0002 Furnish Systems Furniture for approximately 60,000 square feet of office space in accordance with the approved design, Line Item 0003 Install O ffice Furniture for approximately 60,000 square feet of office space. FOB point shall be Destination, and shipping should be included in the unit prices. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. Paragraph (a) of FAR 52.212-2 is added to read: best value . The contractor certifies that it can meet the delivery date by submitting a quotation. The provision at 52. 212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. The contractor shall return a completed copy of this provision with its quotation. A copy of the provision may be attained from http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Paragraph (o) is changed to read: The contractor shall provide all standard commercial warranties to the government. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following FAR clauses identified at paragraph b of FAR 52.212-5 are considered checked and are applicable to this acquisition: (1 3-19), (22i), (24) & (29). A site visit is scheduled for 8 September 2005 at 9:00 am CST. Offerors will meet at the 118 MS/MSC (Contracting Office). At the site visit, offerors will be provided a detailed requirements list. Attendance is strongly encour aged. Award can only be made to contractors registered in the Central Contractor Registration database, http://www.ccr.gov.
