Duvall, Contracting Officer, (801)523-4091 DESCRIPTION: This a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quot es are hereby requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code will be 339999, size standard is 500 Employees. SPECIFICATIONS: Simulated human figure designed to improve accuracy and performance in defensive training. Used for scenario-based training program or for practice drills with high repetition. Wrists, arms, elbows and knees work similar to a humans. Can be handcuffed, worked with a baton or taken to the ground. Stands at least 6 feet tall and weigh no more than 65 pounds. Constructed with heavy gauge steel and covered with a durable, padded suit. Counterweight system that feels equivalent to that of a per son weighing approximately 180 pounds. Must include a portable stand: 93 H x 42 W x 83 L, heavy steel frame construction with a counterweight pulley system. EVALUATION FACTORS: The contract type for this procurement will be Firm-Fixed price and award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. Selection will be based on the following evaluation factors: (1) t echnical factors, to include past performance; (2) brand offered that meets the Government requirements; and (3) total cost and/or price.
