Description

SEALIFT LOGISTICS COMMAND, ATLANTIC intends to conduct a non-competitive procurement to obtain an four (4) Quincy LP Air compressors (2 for USNS Grasp and 2 for USNS Grapple) and four (4) Quincy Air Dryers (2 for USNS Grasp and 2 for USNS Grapple) for installation onboard USNS GRASP (RDD: 05 January 2006) and USNS GRAPPLE (RDD:05 June2006). Salient Characteristics Air Compressor: 1. Helical Screw Rotary Type 2. Direct Drive 3. 245 CFM, 110 psig 4. Water cooled aftercooler with moisture separator & trap 5. 460 vac, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 1800 RPM, 50 HP 6. Air Discharge check valve 7. 10-year air end warranty 8. Safety Devices 9. Load/no load modulation 10. Salt water coolers Air Dryer 1. Heatless, dual tower, desiccant air dryer 2. 250 SCFM 3. -40 degrees F, pressure dewpoint 4. 150 psig Design Pressure 5. 115 vac, single phase, 60 Hz 6. 37.5 SCFM- Max purge Flow 7. pressure gauge and relief valves on each tower 8. purge mufflers 9.
