- Arcata Associates, Inc (Arcata/UNITeS)performing as the Acquisition Services subcontractor under the MSFC UNITeS Prime Contract NNM04AA02C intends to negotiate only with Equinix, on an emergency basis, to modify an existing GSA delivery order for Carrier Independent Exchange Facility (CIEF) Services, supporting the UNITeS WAN Replacement Project. This modification will consist of the following: a) Revision of the power requirements supporting the equipment rack located in the CIEF, and 2) Provide Roof Access for the installation of a GPS Antenna. This work is shall be performed in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) for four (4) customer sites located across the US. This procurement will consist of: One (1) Base Year: (12 Months), and two (2) twelve (12) month option periods. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested firms have until 12:00 Noon CDST 06 September 2005, to submit in writing their proposals to the identified point of contact. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, as proposals are being requested per the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) and associated documents, which are located in the attached WORD files. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of any amendments, and clarifying questions and answers. Responses received without the required information will be considered non-responsive to this synopsis/solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by Arcata Associates, Inc. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
