- Description
- Defense Commissary Agency requests proposals to furnish and install balers to include the de-installation of existing equipment to commissaries on a world-wide basis. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. A Fixed Price, Requirements Type Contract is contemplated. The period of performance will be November 1, 2005 through April 30, 2009 (a base period of performance of 18-months and 2 one-year option periods). The RFP will be posted on the FedBizOpps at www.fedbizopps;.gov. Offerors may obtain a copy of the solicitation at this site. Notice for price history may be obtained by accessing http://www.commissaries.com/business/contracting.cfm any additional information should be requested under Freedom of Information (FOIA) guidance. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be released on or about September 12, 2005. The SIC is 3569, the NAICS code is 333999 & the size standard is 500 for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the above agency. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract resulting from this solicitation.
