Description

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Northern Grain Insects Research Laboratory, Brookings, South Dakota, intends to enter into a sole source contract with the North Brookings Sanitary and Water District, Brookings, South Dakota, to upgrade the force main/lift station due to the increased load resulting from additional buildings recently constructed at the Laboratory. The Northern Brookings Sanitation District owns and maintains the existing lift station and force main. The North Brookings Sanitary and Water District is part of the utility company in Brookings, SD. They operate the lift station and force main that delivers sanitary waste to the City of Brookings waste system and they are the only source allowed to perform upgrades and construction on the system. *Provide Qualification Statement by Close of Business September 14, 2005, if interested in this procurement.
