Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Estuarine Habitats & Coastal Fish Center (EHCFC)is in need of contractors that can provide janitorial services after hours, 5 days a week, at the facility located at 646 Cajundome Blvd, Ste 175, Lafayette, LA 70506. DESCRIPTION: The contractor will be responsible for providing Janitorial services after hours, 5 days a week, at the EHCFC for the base period of October 1, 2005 through September 30, 2006 with one 12 month option period. The building is approximately 52,172 square feet. The contractor shall maintain the EHCFC, including outside and garage areas, in a clean condition. The contractor shall provide sufficient supplies, material, and equipment to adequately maintain the premises at an acceptable level of cleaning consistent with comparable industry standards for this type of contract. The Contractor shall also furnish hand soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and trash bags throughout the building. Any business capable of completing this project is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 calendar days after publication of this notice. The NAICS code for this action is 561720. This service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition Procedures. The Central Region Acquisitions Division requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
