Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Portland, Oregon is soliciting offers to provide Courier Service to and from the Bend and Salem Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC?s), to and from the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center (PVAMC). Contractor shall provide courier services to meet the needs of the hospital as specified in RFP 260-06-01150, and in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws. It is estimated that a contract award will be made on or around September 16, 2005, with services to begin on or around October 1, 2005. Contract offers will include a base period with (4) one-year option periods, if in the best interest of the Government. Offers are due no later than 3:00pm local time September 12, 2005. No telephone requests for solicitations will be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. This is a negotiated procurement and there will be no public bid opening. North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 492110, and the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. The solicitation is available as a web based document and should be downloaded by interested offerors.
