Description

The Government intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to JLG Industries, Inc., 1 JLG Drive, McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania 17233-9533 for reconditioning of the 120HX JLG Aerial Manlift as required by the Antenna Services Division of Naval Security Group Activity, Sugar Grove, West Virginia. The sole source justification is in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), the one responsible source able to provide the necessary overhaul in order to pass the required ANSI annual certification. The refurbishment required is beyond the capability of the local manufacturer service center and must be returned to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) headquarters in Pennsylvania. JLG, Inc. is the OEM that designed the existing unit. The refurbishment must meet the original specifications. A complete Solicitation package N00189-05-T-0519 will be available on or about 7 September 2005 by downloading the documents at the http://www.fedbizopps.gov or http://www.neco.navy.mil. The applicable NAICS Code is 811310. The size standard is $6.0 million. The FSC is J039. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
