Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, H92242-05-T-0027 is issued as a request for quotation ((RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. The associated NAICS code is 336612 and small business size standard is 500 employees. Line Item 0001 Labor and material for cleaning Olympic size pool at least three days per week and additional times as required. Daily water testing maintaining the filtration system overseeing repair, providing necessary chemicals to maintain chlorine level of 2.5-4.0 ppm, ph level of 7.6-7.7, total alkalinity of 80-120 ppm, and water temperature in the winter season of 82 decrees. Pool located at Special Boat Team 20, Stennis Space Center, Ms. FOB Destination to SBT22, Stennis Space Center, MS. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition as well as FAR 52.212-5 (DEV) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition as well as FAR 52.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program (APR 2003). A Secret Clearance is required. The Order that will be issued under this requirement is anticipated to be (1) Base year with 4 Option years. See Numberd Note 1.
