- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to solicit for the provision of Non-personal Dental Assistant Services to be rendered at the United States Penitentiary (USP) McCreary located in Pine Knot, Kentucky. USP McCreary requires the services of two (2) dental assistants. This solicitation should result in the offer of contract award(s) that will consist of a base year with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. Estimated usage quantities for USP McCreary are 1560 one hour sessions for each dental assistant for each contract year. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 2, 2005 and will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is September 23, 2005. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621399 and the applicable small business size standard is $6 million. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
