- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The solicitation number for this procurement is F1B3F35147A200 and is issued as Request for Quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05. This solicitation is set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System is 334290. The small business size standard is 750. The requirement shall be for: Altus Air Force Base Fire Department Dispatch Facility Modernization following the statement of work as listed: Contractor to assist Altus AFB in the modernization of their existing dispatch facility. The existing dispatch facility is of limited space and offers little flexibility to incorporate additional equipment or added functionality. The scope of this project includes: 0001) Disassembly and removal of the existing metal desk enclosures; 0002) Provide two (2) dispatch desks with adjustable work platforms, work surfaces, and storage units. Dispatch chairs not included. 0003) Relocation of CPUs and various controllers, modems, etc to a central equipment rack. 0004) Relocation of printers and fax to a central printer stand. 0005) Provide two (2) dispatch positions consisting of a 2 ft by 2 ft array of 20 inch LCD workstation monitors (reusing the existing Monaco 20 inch LCDs). 0006) Providing a LCD TV with wall mount. 0007) Adding a second Monaco Fire client. 0008) Providing a KVM switching arrangement at each dispatch position to enable CPUs to share a keyboard and mouse, and at the second position, share an LCD monitor. Contractor to perform installation. However, the government base communications personnel will be required for the relocation of radio equipment, telephone sets and base network enabled equipment. The CPU equipment rack will be located in the space presently occupied by the Monaco CAM controllers. Removing the CAM equipment will be separately to upgrading the Altus Monaco system, and will be accpomplished prior to this project.
