Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Only faxed or e-mailed quotations will be accepted. This solicitation, F1F2A55215A100 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24. This acquisition is Restricted, 100% HUBZONE SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.1305. Item Description Qty Unit of Issue Computer Radiography System, Model: STAR NDT 300 PHOSPHOR SYSTEM 1 EA 2-YEAR WARRANTY 1 EA Printer/Feeder 1 EA SHIPPING CASES 1 SET Flexible Imaging Plates (14x7) 8 EA Flexible Imaging Plates (5x7) 4 EA The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The provisions at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. 52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Technical Competency 2. Past Performance/Experience 3. Price Technical and past performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price. The Government also reserves the right to make no award at all. Offerors must provide the name, POC, phone number, and purchase order of at least 3 recent customers to whom delivery of relevant products were made. Offers shall be good for a minimum of 90 days. Quotation shall include pricing for delivery as follows: (1) Shipping and any and all other costs associated in making delivery to Aviano Air Base, Italy. Offerors submitting offers on products considered equal to the Manufacturer specified are required to submit with its offer descriptive literature in sufficient detail to permit a complete and accurate evaluation of the products offered. Offerors shall include with the submission of their offer a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to transact business with the Department of Defense (DoD). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award.
