Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. One each degaussing machine. 120V 60Hz Hard disk drive degaussing machine. The degausser must meet DoD specifications for purging classified/sensitive information from hard disk media u p to 5000 Oersteds including floppy disks, zip disks, jazz disks, and hard disk drives without removing the disk platters. Deguasser must also meet DoD specifications for purging all classified/sensitive information from tape media up to 2500 Oersteds inc luding DLT III, DLT IV, Super DLT, LTO, 8mm, DDS1, DDS2, DDS3, DDS4, and VHS. Degausser must be listed in the National Security Agency (NSA) approved degausser products list as meeting these requirments. Manufacturer: Data Security Inc., Lincoln NE. Mod el number HD-1T.
