Description

This RFQ is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The Bureau of Reclamation, Yuma Area Office, has a requirement for wastewater/sludge analyte chemical analysis. The RFQ will be issued for award of multiple BPAs with a base year and four option years. The anticipated RFQ issue date is on or about September 6, 2005, via electronic posting at http://www.FedBizOpps.gov but all dates in this announcement are subject to change. The Government reserves the right to issue the solicitation on paper or CD-ROM if the website becomes inoperable or if the Contracting Officer determines it is in the Government's best interest to do so. Interested parties should register to receive e-mail notifications pertaining to the RFQ or visit the website after September 6, 2005, to download the solicitation and any subsequent amendments and/or notices to be included on the offerors list in order to encourage subcontracting and partnering/joint venture opportunities. Award will be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541380 and the size standard is $10 million. The RFQ and any amendments will be available through the Internet site. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award. The Central Contractor Registration Handbook and information on the registration process can be obtained via the CCR website, http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423.
