Description

ISSUE DATE: 09/20/05. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for Exterior Painting and Repairs of Memorial Chapel at USCG Academy, New London, CT. A summary of the work includes remove and dispose of existing caulking at window frames and furnish and install new caulking; remove and dispose existing deicing cables located in existing copper gutters; strip to bare wood or metal surfaces and prime and paint all wood amd metal surfaces that have been stripped; properly prepare all surfaces to be painted; prime, paint and reinstall three ornamental cast iron panels; repair, re-secure and paint the existing wood fascia; reapir lead coated copper gutters; and other related work. The estimated cost range of this project is $25,000 to $100,000. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 09/20/05. The date for receipt of bids is scheduled for 10/7/05 at 11:00 am. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 and the size standard is $28.5 million.
