Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has a requirement for development and promotion of effetive Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) practices in U.S. Industry. The Government shall award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Step solutions for the development process which shall include (1) revision of documents, (2) Meeting attendance, (3) preparation of documents for DIS ballot, (4) preparatory work for module deveopment utilizing FAR pat 13, Simplified Acquisition procedures(106-1(b) - only one responsible soure. The NAICS code is 541990. The Government anticipated the award of a fixed price purhase order on or about September 9, 2005. The competitive solicitations, solicitation amendments, and asll questions and answers related to this procurment will be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ will only be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order There is no written solicitations documentation available, telephhone requets will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained. Potential offerers are requested to direct all questions via email to Janice. moten@nist.gov. This acquisition is a small business set-aside, because this is a small business set-aside, all business sizes are invited to respond. However, if at least two small businesses submit acceptable quotations, the procurement becomes a small business set-aside, and only the quotations from the small business shall be evaluated. All other quotations shall be excluded.
