Description
AMENDMENT #1 The purpose of this amendment is twofold: (1) To amend the solicitation to read ?This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05.? (2) And to add an addendum to the Government?s Statement of Work. Statement of Work Addendum We performed an extensive review of our system and interfaces and have created a list of requirements that must be satisfied by the selected vendor. These capabilities must be exhibited by the vendor selected to fulfill requirements for information access, retrieval, and reporting from Honeywell systems. 1. Solution must process Honeywell files and databases including BCD, ASCII, UFAS, DDE, and IDSII. 2. Solution must operate without modification on any release of the Honeywell GCOS8 operating system. Therefore, in the process of migrating from one level of GCOS to another, there is no conversion activity or maintenance activity associated with the continued use of the selected solution. 3. Solution must provide automatic navigation through the IDSII database for data extracts, reports, and queries. 4. Solution must provide automatic creation and maintenance of the typical `data dictionary'. 5. Solution must prohibit update of files or database structures, thus precluding accidental or deliberate data contamination. 6. Solution must provide for dynamically merging data from disjoint files and databases without sacrificing other important features like automatic database navigation. 7. Solution must processes the actual data as it exists on the system rather than requiring a duplicate of the data on a separate system. 8. Solution must provide a performance improvement for extracting data from the Honeywell systems in the range of 5 top 10 times faster than the current COBOL processes. 9. Solution must provide at a minimum the file output formats of UFAS, SSF, and delimited. 10. Solution must provide processing in both BATCH and TSS. 11. Solution must provide an integrated solution to access the Honeywell IDSII data directly from a commercial off the shelf, SQL language end user query tool.
