Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with LKC Technologies Inc. of Gaithersburg, Maryland, for the purchase of a Electro-diagnostic Testing and Analysis System, for the Hines VA Medical Center, Hines IL. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302 - only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 339115. To the best of our knowledge, LKC Technologies Inc. of Gaithersburg, Maryland is the only source that provides a system visual electro-diagnostic system, that is a complete comprehensive versatile system that allows the VA Research Department, the flexibility to apply a wide range of specific electro-diagnostic tests. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within fourteen (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, VAMC-GLAC, Building 5, 5000 W. National Ave. Bldg. 5, Milwaukee WI 53295 or via fax to (414) 902-5440. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the GLAC will proceed with the sole source negotiation with LKC Technologies Inc. of Gaithersburg, Maryland.
