Description
Hood & Duct Cleaning Service This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and written solicitations will not be issued. This requisition (# F2S3CE5118A300) is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05 (8 Jun 05). NAICS: 561790. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. Small business size standard: $6 million. Quotes are to be received by this office NLT 2:00pm CST on 12 Sep 05. Quotes can be faxed or e-mailed to the points of contact listed on this notice. CLIN0001: Hood and duct cleaning. Statement of Work: Contractor shall furnish all labor, parts, tools, material, and transportation necessary to conduct preventive maintenance cleanings of the hood and duct systems. All work to be accomplished in compliance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 96, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 29, UL 300, Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Cleanings shall be accomplished initially and monthly thereafter following the monthly delivery schedule in Attachment 1; which is available on request. The contractor shall have only competent and qualified personnel perform the work. The personnel shall be certified to perform hood and duct cleaning services. A statement of work accomplished shall be submitted upon completion work. Basis of Award: a firm fixed price award will be made to the lowest price offeror best demonstrating the ability to satisfy the technical capabilities of the items specified. Offerors must provide descriptive literature to this office for evaluation prior to close out date stated above. FAR 52.204-8 Annual Representations and Certifications must be part of this solicitation package to be considered. Successful offeror must be Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) set-up prior to award.
