Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCBB has an unfunded requirement for annual medical waste transportation and destruction for the 45th Medical Support Sq., Patrick AFB Florida. Service will start 1 October 2005 and contract will be awarded subject to availability of FY06 funds. Period of performance/expected delivery date is 1 Oct 2005 to 30 September 2006. Four one-year options may be awarded. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0381 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 4212, business size of 10,500,000 million and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 562212. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 11 September 2005 at www.eps.gov . Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail.
