Description
AMENDMENT: The Government issued Solicitation FA4613-05-R-0007 which is being modified with the following changes: The Offer Due Date/Local Times have been changed from 6 Sep 05, 4 p.m. to 8 Sep 05, 4 p.m. Item No. 0001AA Estimated Quantity should read 440. Line items 0015 and 1015 should have the following words inserted, "...military installation shipping offices and ocean or river terminals/piers within local area and return, unloading from...". Pre-Solicitation Notice: The Government currently plans to issue Solicitation FA4613-05-R-0007. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 484210 with a size standard of $21.5M. This acquisition is to provide services for Packing, Containerization and Local Drayage of Direct Procurement Method (DPM) Personal Property Shipments - Local, Inbound, and Outbound in Area 1, Laramie, Albany, Platte, and Goshen Counties in WY, and Area 2, Weld and Larimer Counties in CO. The contractor shall provide all labor, parts, tools, management, and transportation necessary to provide packing and crating services. The contractor shall abide by all local, state, and federal regulations during the performance of the awarded contract. The performance period will be one Basic Year starting 1 July 05 plus four one-year Options that may be exercised unilaterally by the Government. In accordance with DoD policy, all contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive an award. The evaluation technique to be utilized for the contemplated award of the issued solicitation is Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) for a best value award decision. Under PPT, past performance will be evaluted. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 21 March 05 and will be posted on the Government's Electronic Posting System at http://www.eps.gov. This solicitation will be available by Internet only and solicitation documents will not be available by any other means. Questions shall be directed to Janet G.
