Description

SUPPLIES/EQUIPMENT: ACA, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Leonard Wood, MO, 65473-0140. SOL: W911S7-05-T-0378, DUE: 09/08/05 DESC: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Leonard Wood, MO, intends to award a Sole Source contract to BEARCOM INC. This award is for the production and delivery of (175 each)F121 S1 ICOM Mobile radios, VHF 136-174 MHz, 128 channels to match existing equipment. These specific F121 ICOM mobile radios are currently used in other TOCs and wi ll standardize the equipment used for Battle Training and Simulations at the Directorate of Common Leadership Training. The F121 ICOM mobile radios was selected due to its unique design as well as its ability to match the previous purchases of radios and i ts compatibility to support other particular applications. The Anticipated date of award is 09 September 2005. This notice is neither a request for competitive Quote nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this requir ement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The closing date for this Synopsis is 08 September 2005 at 10:00 hrs.
