Description
CONTACT Mike Nicolich, System Engineer, 732-532-7309. The Department of Army is conducting a market survey to seek potential sources for the Training Development of the AEHF (Advance Extremely High Frequency) SMART-T (Secure Mobile Anti-Jam Reliable Tactical Terminal). The AEHF SMART-T is a multi-channel, tactical communications terminal that utilizes the Milstar satellite constellation and other EHF satellites compliant with MIL-STD-1582 (SECRET NOFORN) and MIL-STD-188-136(SECRET NOFORN) and the AEHF compliant with MIL-STD-188-AEHF (SECRET NOFORN). Training development includes upgrades to the current training facility, training manuals and procedures, MIL-STD 40051, MIL-STD 2361, MIL-STD 3008 and MIL-HDBK 1222A. Potential Bidders are required to have detailed knowledge of all aspects of SMART-T hardware and software in order to adequately update the EHF Training Facility, convert paper publication to Electronic Technical manual (ETM) / Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), and a deliverable exportable Computer Base Trainer (CBT) with the look and feel of all aspects of SMART-T functionality and maintenance upgraded AEHF software. The training system shall be capable of being fielded to the US Army Signal School, Fort Gordon, GA. The system s hall include the capability to support portable distance learning on compact media. Data formats to consider are XML, SGML, PDF and software EMS2, IADS, Quill and Microsoft windows. Reply requested by 16 September 2005.
