Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), W15P7T-05-Q-D423. The small size standard is for annual sales below $21,000,000 for the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 541511. The U.S. Army C-E LCMC intends to negotiate sole source with Austin Info Systems, Inc., 301 Camp Craft Road, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78746, to procure 13 Medina Wireless Surveillance (MWS) Software Licenses with one year of Maintenance Support. Additiona lly, an Option will be included for a second year of Maintenance. The software described herein will be purchased for the Army Project Manager, Intelligence and Effects (PMIE) for use with the All Source Analysis System-Light (ASAS-L) program. The softwa re required will support Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) initiatives. It is part of the ASAS-L baseline and is currently fielded to soldiers worldwide. Shipments are to be FOB destination. Interested sources may identify their interest by providing a quote no later than 16 Sept ember 2005. Award will be evaluated on price alone. If no affirmative written responses are received, it is the intent of the Government to negotiate sole source and award a contract to Austin Info Systems, Inc. These items are in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF). Therefore, offers are to be received within 10 days of the posting of this COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION. The US Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from C-E LC MC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CE-LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil.
