Description

The Philadelphia District intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Rutgers University Haskin Shellfish Research Laboratory., 6959 Miller Avenue, Port Norris, NJ 08349. This procurement is using Simpli fied Acquisition Procedures and only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is for the monitoring of various areas in New Jersey to acquire data necessary to evaluate the success of the shell planting program. No RFQ will be issued based on this notice. However, all information received within three (5) calendar days after date of publication of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a co mpetitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for information received. All contract ors are required to be registered in the DOD Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
