Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service , Panama City Field Office intends to issue an award to Dr. Michael Kane with the University of Florida to develop a reliable genetic database to delineate and determine sea oats provenance for ecologically sound beach and dune restoration. Dr. Kane and the facility at the University of Florida have the existing research facility and equipment needed to complete the work and has conducted the preliminary research. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
