Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Special Communications Requirements (SCR) Division, St. Inigoes, MD, has a requirement for an additional two (2) each Very High Frequency (VHF) Frequency Modulation (FM) Transmitters from Lucid, Inc., 24 Independence Road, Mountain Top, PA 18707-2315, in support of the U.S. Army Psychological Operations Command (PSYOP) Wind Supported Aerial Delivery System (WSADS) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Project. These tranmitters will be procured via modification to contract N00421-05-C-0070 on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (ii) ?Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.? The requested transmitters must be identical to the equipment previously procured and must meet the sponsor?s requirements of form, fit, payload size in the UAV, frequency range. In addition, the transmitters must be compatible with other AM, TV transmitter components already in the field.
