Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Division intends to acquire on a full and open competitive basis dedicated technician services in support of Base Communications Office located at Naval Station Newport RI. The requirement is being processed in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program For Certain Commercial Items, as supplemented by the procedures described in FAR Part 12. The RFQ shall contain a requirement for a base period of performance beginning 01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006 with four (4) one-year renewal option periods. A firm fixed price type of contract is anticipated. Evaluation will be based on past performance and price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and small business size standard are 62111 and $6Mil, respectively. Upon its release, the RFQ will be made available electronically at www.neco.navy.mil. A hardcopy of the RFQ will not be made available. The RFQ is expected to be released on or about 01Aug 2005. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the RFQ. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by FISC Norfolk, Philadelphia Division. Quoters must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. Further, quoters are required to go on-line to the Business Partner Network at http://orca.bpn.gov to complete their Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) prior to submittal of a quotation.
