Description
Solicitation Number: 6FES-K1-050302-N Commodity: FSC 5180, Electrical Took Kits Contract Period: 7/1/06 ? 6/30/08 with three one-year options The General Services Administration (GSA), Global Supply is in the process of preparing a formal solicitation for FSC 5180, Electrical Took Kits. The solicitation will result in a two year Requirement Term Contract, Indefinite Quantity Fixed Price, with three one-year options. This solicitation will contain requirements for four (4) items. Pricing is not required in your response to this notice. The contract will include an Economic Price Adjustment clause. Delivery will be FOB destination within the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia, 120 DARO or less and a minimum order amount of no more than $50.00. Clause 552.225-70 Notice of Procurement Restriction ? Hand or Measuring Tools or Stainless Steel Flatware will apply. A notice of the solicitation will be placed on the FedBizOps web site (no hard copies will be mailed). Firms requesting notification of the posting date will receive an e-mail advising them when the notice is posted, however, it is the vendors responsibility to monitor FedBizOps. The solicitation is scheduled to issue on or about 2/28/2006. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the RFP, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Past Performance, Delivery, and Price. Past performance and delivery when combined are significantly more important than price. Where proposals are determined to be essentially equal, the award will be made to the contractor submitting the lowest price. If you are interested in submitting an offer, please fill out the attached questionnaire. Your input will be used in an effort to improve and expand the competitive procurement process. The Item Purchase Descriptions for the National Stock Items are being provided in the attached word document.
