Description

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Contract Services Directorate, Cleveland anticipates issuing a sole source award firm fixed price contract to Delphax Technologies, Inc. The contract will be for 40 each Printer cartridge 300 DPI Part Number 1016771-002, 40 each Erase Rods Part Number 1007397, and 41 each Toner RP1362 Can Part Number 1021629-001 in support of two Delphax printers. The above items are proprietary products. Delphax is the sole manufacturer of the supplies required to support the two Delphax printers at DFAS Indianapolis. Delphax does not have distributors authorized to sell their products in the open market. The use of supplies, which do not meet Delphax specifications, could jeopardize the maintenance contract. Responses from responsible sources will be considered. Response must have sufficient documentation to allow this office to evaluate the probability of your firm to submit a valid proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If the requirement is found to be other than sole source, no additional announcement will be published. All communication shall be in writing and by e-mail and addressed to william.fischbach@dfas.mil.
