- Description
- AMENDMENT 3, QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: Question 1 Please identify the specific categories of pest certification required. The list of pests to be suppressed greatly exceeds the work legally covered by the category of certification described. For example, outdoor treatment of insects that feed on vegetation is category 3; and mosquito larva treatment is category 5; not within the Industrial, Institutional, Structural, and Health Related Pest Control categories. A) The contractor shall have all required certificates to meet our requirements. Question 2 Fumigation falls within the Industrial, Institutional, Structural, and Health Related Category. Few companies hold that certification, as it is deadly work with little use in an urban setting. Also Industrial Weed falls in the same group, Does the Offeror have to maintain those specific certifications? A) If the need for fumigation arises, the contractor shall need to be certified. This is a IPM contract fumigation is the last resort. Question 3 A) Must the Offeror have the pesticide certifications in hand at the time of bid or acquire them after the award and prior to work being performed? Please see Section C Deliverables
