Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The refernce number is F3BT725227A100. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-05 and DFARS DCN 20050901 Edition. All responsible sources shall submit a written proposal, which will be considered. Facsimile submissions will also be accepted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the solicitation is 334111. This combined synopsis/solicitation is unrestricted. Item/Services Description: Servers for Lognet support Qty: 6 in accordance with the specifications below: Plug and Play Network Attached Storage, LCD front panel for initial setup. Remote managed from Web browser. Security is compatible with MS NT domains and Active Directory (NTLM v1 and v2 Compatible). Protocols Supported: HTTP, FTP, SMB/CIFS. HDD: RAID 5, hot swappable, 4 x 120 GB Drives. Intel Pentium 3 processor - 1.2 GHz, 512 MB SDRAM, build in DVD-RW drive, dual Ethernet 10/100/1000 supports load balancing and fault tolerance. 110/220 switchable power, 50/60 Hz. Workstation Support: Windows 2000 and XP. Media/Disc Support: ISO 9660 level 1, 2 and 3 (including Romeo, Joliet, and Rock Ridge extensions), HFS/HFS+, UDF (for both CD and DVD), High Sierra, Hybrid ISO+HFS, and multi-session CDs. 1 Year Warranty with 2nd and 3rd year extended periods available. Price to include shipment to Consolidation & Containerization Point, Defense Depot Susquehanna (DDSP) Bld 2001, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall provide a firm fixed-price offer. FAR 13.106-2, Evaluation of quotations or offerors The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offer whose offer conforming to the solicitation will provide the best value to the government. The government reserves the right to make award to other than the low bidder. Successful contractor must meet all the responsibility requirements of Subpart 9.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). A written notice of award or acceptance of offer, mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Offerors shall include with the submission of their offer a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications of Commercial Items.
