ALL ITEMS ARE TO BE DELIVER TO THE ADDRESS LISTED BELOW: US Army Building 1210 Mann Avenue (Dupont Gate) Fort Lewis, WA 98433 Specifications for Used Oil Tanks Fort Lewis used oil tanks must conform to the following: 1. UL-142 listed Double walled horizontal above ground steel tank, no taller than 48. 2. 500 gallon minimum capacity. 3. Polyurethane exterior paint finish, Tan or White 4. Primary working vent device 5. Primary tank emergency vent device. 6. UL-listed 1 air operated double diaphragm pump, pump is to be mounted on top of tank. (Pump to be plumbed into the tank with flexible hose of appropriate size). 7. 8 x 1 product suction hose, with quick disconnect Dixon or Parker brand 1-female end on end of hose, and 2-male ends to be mounted by customer. 8. Air filter/ regulator with pressure gage. 9. Automatic high level shut off device 10. Tank gage (preferably a Scully type gage) 11. Manual air inlet shut off with 25 of 3/8 air hose. 12. 2 suction tube with Kamlock & dust cover for product withdrawal. 13. Appropriate Product decals 14. Please include freight to Ft. Specifications for Oil tote/caddie Specification Sheet Fort Lewis Waste oil evacuation totes/caddies must be of a John Dow Industries model and conform to the following: 1. Made of a heavy gage metal (No poly or plastic type material). 2. Tote must be able to be emptied by gravity, evacuation pump and pressurized air evac system. 3. No specification on color, but must be painted to resist rust. 4. Must be of a low profile design no higher than 10 5. 17-25 gallon capacity. 6. Must be able to have a 1 dry break fitting Parker or Dixon Type for connection to waste oil pump located on other tank. 7. Casters must be large soft rubber type, 4 or 6 in diameter. Front wheels should be of a swivel type for steering purposes. 8. Pull handle must a min. of 36 long, made from metal. 9. Must have some type of screen mesh to keep large items out of the oil tote/caddie 10. Please include freight to Ft. Lewis WA 98433 Specifications for Parts Washers Fort Lewis Parts washing tanks must conform to the following: 1. Must use/hold less than 30 gallons of solvent. 2. Must be compatible with Mil Spec PRF-680 type II solvent. 3. Must have four legs or support stands. (No drums) 4. Must have at least a one year warranty. 5. Must incorporate a work light. 6. Must have a flow through brush system and nozzle for delivering solvent in the tank. 7. Should have a large enough work basin to receive heavy duty truck parts 8. 110 VAC electric motor. 9. Some solvent tanks are purchased with solvent and filter packages. We do not recommend purchasing these items due to the approval process for solvent and we keep filters in stock for the tanks. 10. Please include freight to Ft. Lewis WA 98433 NOTE: Here on Ft. Lewis we use only the Claus model or inland model tank system. This is due to the requirement for filters and overhead for repair parts. Specifications for Outdoor Chemical Storage Lockers Fort Lewis HAZMAT sheds must conform to the following: 1. Dimensions- 7 wide, 8 tall, 5 deep 2. Color- Chemical/corrosive/ultraviolet resistant paint exterior paint finish Blue or Tan 3. One door in front, No ramp 4. NFPA 704 decals with numbers 5. Shelves for storing Hazardous material. 6. Removable steel safety floor planking 7. Forklift channels for easy mobility 8. Designed IAW standards set by NFPA Code 30 and comply with OSHA and EPA regulations 9. FM Approved for the storing of flammable and combustible liquids 10. Prefer Double walled construction to prevent condensation. 11. Inlet vents for ventilation 12.
