Description

Provide all materials and services to install approximately 250 feet each of steam and condensate lines above ground. Line sizes vary up to 4" lines. Work includes the installation of condensate pumps, valves and other tie-ins to existing lines and associated work at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, Connecticut. The proposed contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price simplified acquisition project. The NAICS Code is 238220. Size standard is $12,000,000. The period of performance will be 45 calendar days after award. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% set aside for small business. The approximate date for release of the Request For Quotations (RFQ) is 12 September 2005. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet. Prospective bidders must register for this project on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation Internet web site, www.esol.navfac.navy.mil to receive notification of availability of solicitation documents. The Issue Date, Proposal Due Date, and Award date stated in this notice are approximate dates. A site-visit will be conducted on 16 September 2005, at 9:30 am.
