- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under PRV551315223A053. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to issue a fixed price purchase order to: (1) Contractor to provide all necessary equipment to remove existing non-skid from port side main deck from Bosn locker to 10 ft aft from the white line at the double plate to outboard. Preparation and non-skid applications to begin from the white line to 2 ft out from bulwalk and 1 ft out from bulkheads and 3 ft out from cargo hatches (2) Stbd side main deck from bosn locker to 10 ft aft accom. ladder from the white line at the double plate to outboard. Preparation and non-skid applications to begin from the white line to 2 ft out from bulwalk and 1 ft out from bulkheads and 3 ft out from cargo hatches. (3) Contractor to remove existing non skid and coating from the areas identified above using any approved mechanical method. Apply primer coat to all surfaces prepared. Apply non skid to all areas primed. No appendages will be prepared (i.e. tiedowns). (4) Upon completion of non skid application, areas will be cut in with haze gray enamel. White color topping will be re-applied to all designated areas within the prepared areas. Above requirement is to be performed at Naval Construction Handling Battalion One, Williamsburg, VA.
