- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, CA (FISCSD) intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price performance-based requirements type contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The requirement is for Contractor Operated Parts Stores (COPARS) to furnish brand name and/or Original Equipment Manufacturer automotive parts and accessories for vehicles and miscellaneous equipment maintained by the Navy Public Works Center (NPWC) San Diego. The COPARS are located in the Transportation Department of NPWC, Bldg. 3509, Naval Station San Diego, CA and Bldg. 802, Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, management and work personnel, materials, equipment, vehicles, reports and other items and services to operate the COPARS. The contractor shall also provide parts and delivery to NAVSTA Pier, Point Loma Submarine Base, San Diego and NASNI Terminal for transport toSan Clemente Island. Contract performance will be a base period and four one-year options. This procurement is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 423120. The solicitation issuance date is anticipated to be on or about October 6, 2005 with an estimated closing date of November 7, 2005. Solicitation N00244-05-R-0063 and any subsequent amendments resulting from this announcement will be available to interested parties via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web site at http://www.navy.mil. Hard copies of the solicitation or amendments will not be issued. It is the responsibility of interested parties to frequently monitor this web site for updates and new listings.
