Description
** MODIFICATION EXTENDS RESPONSE DATE TO 9/23/05 ** The United States Government desires to lease modern quality office space in an existing facility consisting of approximately 27,000 rentable sq. ft in Chicago, IL within the following delineated area: Starting at the intersection of Randolph Drive and Wells Street, proceed west on Randolph Drive to Des Plaines Street. At Des Plaines Street, then go south to Adams Street. Go east on Adams Street to Jefferson Street. From Jefferson Street, go south to Jackson Boulevard. From Jackson Boulevard, go east to Wacker Drive. From Wacker Drive, go north to Adams Street. From Adams Street, go east to Wells Street. From Wells Street, go north to Randolph Drive. The space should yield between 22,000 to 25,000 BOMA usable sq. ft including one (1) on site, twenty-four hour reserved, secured parking space. The space must be fully serviced including all utilities, janitorial and snow removal services. The office space must be contiguous, and preferably on one (1) floor. The proposed lease is for ten (10) years firm term. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than July 2006. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The General Services Administration is using a tenant broker to represent the government in lease negotiations for this transaction. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord but any properties or proposals submitted by broker/agent must be accompanied by written evidence they are authorized to represent the building?s ownership. Access to public transportation and on-site parking to cover commuting and visitor needs should be available. Space should be located near a variety of inexpensive moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants, and other amenities such as shops, cleaners, banks, etc. These services should be available within three blocks.
