Description
PR No: RE05174008; This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for a SENSING ELEMENT, FIRE DETECTION SYSTEM. This solicitation is for award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract. The solicitation has a base year and four option years. There are two approved sources of supply: Meggitt Safety Systems, Inc. (Cage 25693), P/N 3951-15-1000/350-8; and Kidde Technologies Inc., DBA Kidde Aerospace (Cage 61423), P/N 10-1101. The NSN and Annual Estimated Quantities (AEQ) are as follows: 6340-01-296-7381; AEQ = 60 Base Year, 60 Option Years; and Maximum Qty = 120 Base Year and 120 Option Years. Delivery: FOB Destination, 192 days ARO. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about 29 Sept 2005. The anticipated award date is 04 Apr 2006. Reference notes 22, 23 and 26.
