Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Applied Biosystems, Foster City, CA to purchase API 3200 Applied Markets System Package, High Performance Triple Quadrupole LC/MS/MS Mass Spectrometer with SCIEX MS STD (install) Kit, P/N 401936 and Agilent 1100 HPLC System. This equipment is to be delivered to USDA FSIS MidWestern Laboratory, St. Louis, MO. This lab workstation includes the following: 1)Custom Table API150-API2000, P/N WC029256; 2) Custom API Extension Card API150-2000, P/N 1004387; 3)4000 Photospray Kit, P/N 1009755; 4) Line Transformers, P/N WC014179; 5) Metabolite ID Add-On for Analyst 1.3/1.4, P/N 1004153; 6) Automation Add-on for Analyst, P/N WC026530; 7) Agilent 1100 HPLC System; 8) Agilent 1100 Series Control Module, P/N WH025874; 9) Agilent 1100 Series Binary Pump Kit with Solvent Cabinet, P/N WH025886; 10) Agilent 1100 series Micro Vac Degrasser, P/N WH027029; 11) Agilent 1100 Series Well Plate Sampler, P/N WH026532; 12) Agilent 100 TC Column Cmptm w/Switching with Column Switching Option, P/N WH025860; 12) NT-Based Peripheral Cable, P/N WC024736. The Office of Public Health Service requires the Midwestern Laboratory to perform the Beta Lactam method using the ARS methodology which specifically requires the use of the High Performance Triple Quadrupole LC/MS/MS Mass Spectrometer instrument manufactured by Applied Biosystems. This instrument has a unique patented ION Source that will provide the required sensitivity to identify, quantify and confirm all of the various Beta Lactam analytes. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirement shall submit written quotations within five (5) days from the published date of this announcement. No solicitation will be issued, therefore such requests for solicitations will be considered non responsive. All quotes shall include price(s); FOB Point; a POC (Name and Telephone Number); GSA Number if applicable; business size and payment terms.
