Description

Solicitation Number: FDA-SOL-05-00114 17. Description: Notice of Intent. The Government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Manekin, LLC, for minor electrical renovation in several rooms for a GSA leasing building, This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals/bids are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238990 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, labor, and equipment to install various electrical outlets, reprogram lighting controlled and renovate telephone closed to office as per plans. The FDA office building is located at 5901 Ammendale Road, Beltsville, MD 20705. This renovation for the GSA leasing buildings is in accordance with Special Aspects of Contracting for Lease Alterations. The lessor has the first right of refusal of any alteration of leased building. These justification and approval requirements in FAR subparts 6.3 and GSAR 506.3, the Government may negotiate directly with the lessor for any minor alteration project. Acceptance shall be performed by the Food and Drug Administration at the address listed above. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Davis and Bacon Wage Determination, General Decision Number MD20057.
