Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for Motorola Infrastructure repair, onsite infrastructure response with local dispatch service, and system survey and analysis to Motorola, 7031 Columbia Gateway Drive, 3rd Floor Columbia, MD 21046-2289, subject to the availability of funds (FAR 52.232-18). The infrastructure repair, maintenance services are necessary for the 55th Communications Squadron to satisfy mission requirements. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement was made because Motorola?s system is currently in place at Offutt AFB. Services requested on this system can only be provided by Motorola certified technicians. Motorola is the only one capable of providing the required personnel to accomplish these services. The procurement of infrastructure repair and maintenance services must be completed in a timely manner in order to meet mission requirements.
