Description

SUBJECT: Notice of Intent to award a sole source procurement for one (1) K400B-XL Software for T-38 & F-16 generator. Desc: Intent to award a sole source procurement with Avtron Manufacturing, Inc. The Air Force, Edwards Air Force Base, CA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Avtron Manufacturing, Inc., 7900 E. Pleasant Valley Road, Independence, OH 44131-5529. The sole source purchase will be for the following commercial item: (1) K400B-XL Software for T-38 & F-16 Generator Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the (1) K400B-XL Software (2) 60KVA F-16 Gen Software for K400-XL (3) 40KVA F-16 Gen Software for K400-XL Responses may be sent via e-mail to kim.rabatin@edwards.af.mil or mailed to AFFTC/PKDD, 5 South Wolfe Ave, Edwards AFB,CA 93524-1185, Attention: Kimberly R. Rabatin. Fax Number:661-275-7862. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. If the office has not received any affirmative written response by close of business (COB), 14 September, 2005, a sole source purchase order will be pursued with Avtron Manufacturing, Inc., 7900 E. Pleasant Valley Road, Independence, OH 44131-5529.
