Description

Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for the Maintenance of Information Kiosks at Air Force Installations around the world in accordance with FAR Part 12 Regulations, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The potential award will go to DynaTouch 9901 Broadway San Antonio TX 78217. This requirement is considered sole source given that DynaTouch is the only known company that is capable of providing the hardware and software updates that is compatible with our currently installed kiosks. The DynaTouch OneStop kiosk is the only kiosk system to have been awarded a Certificate of Networthiness by the U.S. Air Force or any Department of Defense agency. The 460th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source is known and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
